Not only did third graders at Rose Drive Elementary School have a blast on their trip to the Yorba Linda Library on Friday, Jan. 15, but they learned a lot too. The lesson included requirements for opening an account and checking out books. Students were rewarded with time to browse, and put into action the tips they learned to locate books of interest. The trip concluded with a walking tour of the historic buildings nearby. We cannot think of a better way to nurture a love for reading and books!
