Before Advanced Placement (AP) exams, the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network (C-SPAN) hosted a national review session for the U.S. Government and Politics exam on Saturday, April 30. The segment is known as “Cram for the Exam” and is a regular feature of the network’s Washington Journal news program. Notably, one of the two teachers featured on the program was El Dorado’s very own AP Government and ED LAW teacher, Mrs. Sunshine Cavalluzzi.
Mrs. Cavalluzzi spent her Saturday morning on live TV answering questions to help students get ready for their upcoming test. According to Principal Joey Davis, she really enjoyed the entire experience but especially loved when one of her own students called in and asked for a challenge question. The student answered it correctly and won a prize.
The show is archived at www.c-span.org/classroom/document/?18973 for anyone wishing to view it.
