Esperanza’s ABC Teacher Pathway students return to the classroom at Glenview Elementary School

Esperanza High students at Glenview

Students in Esperanza High School’s ABC Teacher Pathway started their Teacher in Training program this week at Glenview Elementary School in Anaheim. The high school students were eager to get started assisting and teaching elementary students at their neighboring campus. Esperanza teacher pathway students were introduced to the Glenview students by Principal Jane Roh and Assistant Principal Julie Pak.

Students in the Teacher Pathway learn about the growth and development of children, classroom management, lesson planning, exceptional student issues, employment research and search skills, and much more. They will also gain the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers in education. The program is made possible through an ongoing partnership with the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program, otherwise known as NOCROP.
