Rose Drive Elementary School fourth graders stepped back in time this week to experience some meaningful events in California’s history. Dressed for the occasion, students impersonated important historical figures, showing their expertise through the memorization of key facts and vocabulary while partaking in a lively retelling of our great state’s past. The inclusion of a friendly competition made things even more interesting, as students competed against one another for points – awarded for participation, lively enthusiasm and strong teamwork. The students had a blast!
