Students at Golden Elementary School have been busy learning all about the history of California. Mrs. Rago’s 4th grade class recently was presented with an opportunity to preview the social studies curriculum for the year! According to the school, the curriculum was just as entertaining for the parents as it was for the students themselves.
Next, Ms. Fraser’s fourth graders each played a character role in learning about California’s history in the Walk Through California Assembly. The program focuses on major events that shaped the state. Drama, dance, games, and music support students’ listening skills, vocabulary development, history and geography standards.
