At the end of last school year, Dr. Gregory Beckman, teacher at El Dorado, formed the Italian Dinner Club for staff members at the school. This was created after the loss of the school’s beloved Assistant Principal, Amy Madrigal. The gatherings gave staff an opportunity to come together and support one another during a very difficult situation.
The Italian Dinner Club has now evolved into a monthly dinner event whereby the staff members of El Dorado meet at different Italian restaurants in Orange County to break bread, converse, laugh, and support one another. This past Thursday, December 21, the Club met at Trullo Ristorante in Yorba Linda and had an outstanding time.
“We are all looking forward to our next dinner engagement at Alza Osteria in Brea on January 18,” Dr. Beckman shared. “Ciao for now!”
Dr. Beckman teaches social science and oversees the Italian and German clubs at El Dorado.
