The Student Council members at Golden Elementary School sponsored a “Socktober” Drive during the month of October. Student Council is made up of students in grades 4, 5, and 6. Golden Families generously donated over 550 pairs of new socks of all sizes! The beneficiary was the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s McKinney Vento Program, which supports families experiencing homelessness. The Drive was a success thanks to the hard work of Student Council members and lead teachers Mr. Nguyen and Mrs. Woinarowicz. Great job, Golden!
