Melrose Elementary School in Placentia is grateful for the generosity of community partners who donated presents so that each student at Melrose would have a gift to open during the holiday season. Toys and gifts were donated by the Salgado Family, Travis Ranch School, Wagner Elementary School, Eastside Christian Church, and Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church.
Gifts were delivered unwrapped and organized by Susan Swinfard, Melrose’s community liaison, and a team of parent volunteers came in to wrap and tag a present for each student. Melrose students were excited to receive their presents from Santa on Friday before the holiday break.
“A huge thank you to our generous donors and Mrs. Swinfard for their efforts!” Principal Janice Weber shared.
