Melrose Students for Excellent Attendance, Academics, and Attitudes by Local Non-Profit

Placentia Police Department in partnership with OC Grip visited Melrose Elementary School on Monday, December 18, 2023, to award ten Melrose students in grades 3-5 with certificates and a $50 Amazon gift card for their excellence in the three As—Attendance, Academics, and Attitude. Students’ parents were in attendance to recognize and share in their student’s outstanding efforts!

OC GRIP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that supports the initiatives of the GRIP (Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership) program in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office with the support of over 200 partners in 13 cities, including police departments, probation departments, and more than 100 private businesses and non-profit organizations.
