Yorba Linda Middle School hosted its first Future Bobcat Week at the end of January. The week included school-wide college and career lessons taught by teachers and lunch time activities as well as college and career spirit days.
The highlight of the week was a school-wide Career Day with over 20 careers speakers that ranged from a variety of sectors. The purpose of Future Bobcat Week is to ignite curiosity in our students to think about their future endeavors.
YLMS looks forward to hosting this event annually in future years,” Principal Paige Stills shared. “AVID students were instrumental in the planning of the events, as well as served as ambassadors to our career speakers.”
