Tuffree arts teacher Janmarie Halliday honored by Board of Education

The Board of Education officially recognized Tuffree Middle School arts teacher Janmarie Halliday with a “You Are The Advantage” award. Janmarie is an extremely valuable member of the district’s visual arts team, and has truly stood out as a teacher and leader in PYLUSD. She has collaborated with district middle schools to create art projects, such as the tile mural at the Professional Development Academy (PDA). Additionally, Janmarie works on various art projects at feeder elementary schools, she coordinated the artwork on display for the upcoming PYLUSD Gala 2016 and, most recently, she coordinated a district-wide contest that provided student artwork for note cards. These are just a few of the activities she manages, while also teaching six periods at Tuffree. We are appreciative of her work, and so grateful for her selfless giving.
