On December 20, students from Esperanza High School’s Television program proudly earned the “Best Steal Like An Artist” award at the David Junker of Filmed Academy of the Arts 24-Hour Film Festival. This highly competitive event brought together 13 schools from across Orange County, showcasing the creativity and collaborative efforts of young filmmakers.
Esperanza’s talented team shot their entry at East Lake Village and the director’s home, crafting a standout film that impressed the judges. The festival culminated in an exciting awards ceremony at Portola High School, where all participating schools came together to celebrate their achievements.
Looking ahead, Esperanza High School is thrilled to host a 48-Hour Film Festival from February 14-16. Aspiring filmmakers from across the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District are encouraged to join this creative challenge and showcase their storytelling talents.
