Yorba Linda Middle School recently held its annual Future Bobcat Week. Future Bobcat Week is our commitment to future-readiness and is designed to prepare students for success in both college and career pathways.
The week-long initiative featured college and career readiness spirit days. In addition, schoolwide lessons focused on college and career readiness were held to equip students with the knowledge and skills for future readiness.
The highlight of the week was Career Speaker Day, held on the final day of the event. More than 20 professionals from the community visited Yorba Linda Middle School to share their expertise and career journeys. Students had the opportunity to select three sessions based on their personal interests, allowing them to gain insight into various career fields and engage in meaningful discussions with professionals from diverse industries.
“Future Bobcat Week is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that students are well-prepared for the future,” said Paige Stills, Principal at Yorba Linda Middle School.
