Lakeview Elementary Students Express Gratitude to Local Firefighters with Kindness Initiative

Lakeview Students Show Appreciation to Local Fire Department Through Kindness Initiative

At Lakeview Elementary School, a group of fourth and fifth-grade students known as the Sunshine Squad recently demonstrated their appreciation for local firefighters through a thoughtful initiative called “Snack Attack.” Committed to spreading kindness within the school and the broader community, the 25-student group organized a collection of individually bagged snacks, which were packaged alongside heartfelt notes of gratitude.

The initiative began by recognizing four Lakeview families with fathers who have been actively supporting firefighting efforts in nearby communities. The remaining snack boxes were delivered to fire stations in Placentia and Yorba Linda as a gesture of appreciation for the firefighters’ courage and dedication.

This meaningful effort underscores Lakeview Elementary School’s commitment to fostering compassion and community engagement among its students while recognizing the invaluable service of local heroes.
