Valencia High School Senior Miranda Rios Honored with ACSA Every Student Succeeding Award

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified Management (PLUM) Board is pleased to extend its congratulations to Miranda Rios, a senior at Valencia High School, for her selection as the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Every Student Succeeding Award from the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA). Miranda was honored for this exceptional achievement during a special recognition breakfast held at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana on Friday, March 7, 2025.

The “Every Student Succeeding” Award is a distinguished recognition program that acknowledges students who have overcome significant challenges and obstacles, achieving success in the face of adversity. Miranda’s journey, from her early years at Ruby Drive Elementary to her time at Kraemer Middle School, and now as a senior at Valencia High School, stands as a testament to the resilience, determination, and perseverance that this award celebrates. Throughout her academic career, she has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence across all areas of her life.

This esteemed program not only honors the outstanding achievements of students like Miranda but also recognizes the essential contributions of the school leaders who have supported and mentored them along the way. Each recipient is celebrated with a recognition ceremony and presented with a new Chromebook to further support their academic success. Additionally, recipients are awarded a variety of prizes and awards to further acknowledge their remarkable accomplishments.

Looking ahead, Miranda has already made plans to continue her educational journey this Fall, as she will be attending Santa Ana College to pursue a degree in Hospitality Management. The PLUM Board proudly celebrates Miranda’s remarkable achievement and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavors. Way to go, Miranda!
