On Friday, Feb. 26, Tynes Elementary School hosted its annual Jog-A-Thon. Students worked together to raise money for more technology. Each grade level came to the track prepared to run as many laps as possible. The kids were treated to music blasting from stereos, bananas and water, as well as a visit from the Chick-fil-A cow. Thanks to the PTA and Jason Abner for their hard work and dedication in organizing this event, and thanks to all families that donated money for the Jog-A-Thon! The top winners will take home a variety prizes, including a Kindle, lunch with the principal and the opportunity to be Principal for the Day.
