The Valadez Middle School Academy dance team held its annual showcase on Friday, March 18, at 6 p.m. for parents and guests. Dance team adviser Michelle Miller started the showcase five years ago as a way to inspire students to follow their dreams by featuring the dancing talent in the area. Several district dance programs and some community groups perform. The showcase has grown into a popular, family-friendly event that the students adore.
