Parkview inducts new members to its National Honor Society

Parkview School held its National Honor Society/National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony on Thursday, April 14. The current chapter president, Isabella Zonni, shared the meaning of the emblem. Then, her cabinet and current members explained the five components that embody a member: scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.

Current member Alyssa Garrett also shared Parkview’s National Honor Society’s mission statement, which she wrote as part of her contribution to membership:

“Our mission as the Parkview National Honor Society is to promote scholarship amongst our members, demonstrate leadership beside our peers, offer service to our community and build character that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.”

Advisor Dr. Chipman introduced the new members with their brief bio as they signed the book of registry. Principal Kathie DiRocco led all members – current and new – in the National Honor Society pledge.

New inductees are: Bryndal Braithwaite, Katelyn Birchfield, Lance Forbes, Kelly Kudlik, Alexis Maddox-Harlos, Michael Marich, Dylan Proctor, Blake Thomas, Nicolas Tremolet DeVillers and Emma Wellmeyer.

Congratulations to all new inductees!
