Rose Drive third graders visit the Bradford House

The A. S. Bradford House, also known as The Bradford House, is a historic home in Placentia. It was the destination of choice for Rose Drive Elementary School third graders last Friday. Students explored the house while receiving fascinating facts about the local history and pioneers of Placentia. They discovered that Albert Summer Bradford, the founding father of Placentia, played a pivotal role in the beginning of the citrus industry, was instrumental in bringing the railroad to Placentia, and opened the first bank and chamber of commerce in Placentia. A fun and informative trip, that is for certain.
