The Orange County Register recently profiled Kraemer Middle School eighth grader Samuel Littrell, who won the Orange County Spelling Bee in February. Samuel earned his spot among the 285 spellers from around the United States, and will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., starting Tuesday. At stake is the trophy and $45,000 in cash and prizes.
