Bernardo Yorba Middle School’s Matador Color Run was a huge success! Not only did the school bring in a third of its fundraising campaign goal, but they had a great time doing it. The weather was perfect on Tuesday, Sept. 13, while the Matador family united for a common goal. Together, everyone had fun, supported the school and provided for the upcoming year of events and activities.
The Matador Color Run is a fundraiser in which students get pledges from sponsors, and raise money with each lap. Students also have the option of getting a flat sponsorship as opposed to per lap donations. The colored powder is safe, consisting of corn starch and food coloring.
Way to go Matadors!
