P21, the Partnership for 21st Century Learning, has designated Valencia High School as an exemplar school for the 2016-2017 school year. Valencia received this honor for exemplary 21st century learning practices in preparing students for success in college, career and life.
P21’s 21st Century Learning Exemplar program searches for and shares the stories of schools and districts that have successfully transformed student learning through innovative practices, such as distributed leadership and community partnerships.
Valencia High School is honored to be recognized as a P21 Exemplar School. Valencia is committed to developing 21st century learning skills in all students. Programs and campus support are developed around key themes of collaboration, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking. Valencia provides opportunities for students to succeed in any pathway they choose, and empowers them to design their success. Students and staff operate within a culture emphasizing high expectations in a nurturing environment. Valencia High School not only prepares students to be college and career ready, but LIFE ready.
