Mabel Paine Elementary School fourth graders get a chance to take on the new STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) lab! Each “crew” is working through a “mission,” which incorporates STEM principles. The fourth grade missions study electricity, the human body, energy, waves, the earth and air. Students have the opportunity to engage hands-on with the subject, and learn through a high-energy, high-interest teaching model.
