Esperanza’s AEM Academy participates in Manufacturing Day

On Friday, Oct. 7, Esperanza High School’s Aztec Engineering & Manufacturing (AEM) Academy celebrated Manufacturing Day by visiting two manufacturers and a local community college.

The students’ first stop was Aerofit, a company that manufactures hydraulic hose fittings for both commercial and military aircraft. Next, they visited Fullerton College, and reviewed their manufacturing classes to see what classes they have to offer. Finally, the AEM students toured Moseys’ Production Machinists, which manufactures precision computer numeric control (CNC) machining of metals, plastics, castings and forgings.

It was a great Manufacturing Day!
