Mabel Paine students enjoy ice cream sundaes at school’s first P.O.W.E.R. party of the year

Students at Mabel Paine Elementary School enjoy their first P.O.W.E.R. (Pride, Own your actions, Well-prepared, Engaged and Respect) party of the year. As part of the school’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) plan, students who earned a P.O.W.E.R. band during the first month of school for getting to school on time, turning in their homework and having good student behavior were invited to the monthly P.O.W.E.R. party provided by the PTA. Pictured above are a few 5th graders enjoying the ice cream sundae theme for this month’s party.
