Yorba Linda High School sophomore Brenda Perez was awarded a certificate from the United States Congress for her participation in the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Summer Abroad Program. Accepting a Global Navigator Scholarship, she traveled to Legon, Ghana, last summer to work for children’s rights and education for a month.
