The fourth grade classes at Mabel Paine Elementary School had the opportunity to participate in Walk Through California. This presentation allows students to actively participate in a lively retelling of California history and geography through games, storytelling and music. They traveled “back in time” to meet and interact with important figures in the state’s history. Additionally, the students built a giant topographical map of California, and learned about the important resources and industries of each region in a hands-on way.
