Brookhaven students take a walk back in time

Brookhaven Elementary School fifth graders participated in the “Walk Through the American Revolution” last week. This was an exciting experience for students, as they were able to reenact notable moments from the Revolutionary War, and dress as famous historical people.

Students had been preparing for this program for the past month, as they worked in teams to craft skits and individual character parts. It was great to see Brookhaven teamwork in action, as students worked together to create props and sets.

The day of the event was fun for all, and every student looked spectacular in their costume! Even Mrs. Walls, the fifth grade social studies teacher, dressed up to have fun with her students.

Great job Brookhaven Bears!
