El Dorado High School (EDHS) is proud to announce that three seniors have been named Commended Students by earning qualifying scores for the 2018 National Merit Commended Student Program. Commended Students placed in the top five percent of the 1.6 million program entrants who take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualify Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
The three Golden Hawk students who received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise are (L-R) Sean Beckman, Samantha Pietenpol, and Kristen Mabry.
PYLUSD is very proud of these students and their achievements. The district is also proud of the teachers and staff, and the role they have played in the development of the outstanding academic programs at El Dorado High School.
