The Valencia High School (VHS) Dance Team competed in San Diego on Saturday, January 20 against other Southern California teams.
Sophomore Brennan Furey competed in his first high school solo and placed 8th out of 43 competitors, while junior Chloe Valtairo placed 9th out of 48 in her division. In addition, Sarah Zamani entered a solo “improv” division where the performer must dance to randomly selected songs and make up the dance as they go along. Sarah finished in the top 7 out of 30 improv performers.
Lastly, Hannah Miller made it all the way to solo finals and finished 8th out of 156 contestants. Way to go, Tigers!
