El Dorado presents Terry Conley Athletes of Character Awards, inducts three former athletes into Wall of Fame

El Dorado High School athletic awards night.

On May 15, El Dorado High School (EDHS) held the Terry Conley Athletes of Character Awards, as well as the athletic Hall of Fame Induction.  It was a great night with lots of outstanding student athletes being recognized for the things they did to embody the spirit of the Terry Conley Award.  For those who are unfamiliar with the name, Terry was a long time coach and a leader on the Golden Hawks’ campus.

El Dorado also took time to induct three new individuals into the Athletic Wall of Fame — Brian Lloyd, Ty Pembleton, and Dave Ramos.

“What I like most about the night is hearing about the young athletes and their accomplishments, as well as the former athletes sharing their story about how people like Steve Gullotti, Connie Grosse and others impacted their lives,” shared El Dorado’s proud principal, Joey Davis.

The school credits Ray Elliott, Steve Gullotti, Carl Sweet, and Sally Reclusado (present and former athletic directors) for all their work organizing this outstanding event.
