International students enjoy World Cup matches with one another

Over Thanksgiving break, some of the district’s international exchange students met up at Lamppost Pizza in Yorba to watch World Cup soccer from an American perspective, dining on pizza and chicken wings. The students observed Argentina defeat Mexico 2-0 and Germany tie Spain 1-1.  For many of the exchange students, soccer is their national pastime within their respective countries and a very integral part of their lives. That’s why this experience was such a treat for these students!
