Kraemer Middle School’s AVID team recently organized a successful campus-wide College and Career Day, where every student had the opportunity to listen and learn about three different careers or colleges. The Cubs hosted a wide variety of professionals from various industry sectors—general manager of a large-scale live event company, founder and CEO of Sequoia Games, fundraiser for nonprofits, virtual production director, nurse, doctors, engineers, real estate agents, firefighter, and many more!
“This day was the culmination of our College and Career week here at Kraemer Middle School,” said AVID Coordinator Beth Mazurier.
It rounded out a fun and productive week that included a UCLA versus USC musical chairs lunch-time activity, a schoolwide choice board of college and career-related activities during homeroom, and daily raffles.
