On Friday, May 25, Valencia High School (VHS) hosted its annual Memorial Day Ceremony to pay tribute to all United States Military Personnel who have selflessly served the country.
Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Board of Education members and administrators, as well as community members, local veterans, active military personnel, and students were all in attendance. Retired teacher, Mr. Andrew Gerasimou, who taught at Valencia for 37 years, was the guest speaker for the event.
Valencia extends special thanks to Esperanza High School’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AFJROTC) for presenting the colors for the ceremony.
