Buena Vista Virtual Academy students take two educational field trips

BVVA field trip.

All 1st through 3rd graders at Buena Vista Virtual Academy (BVVA) in Yorba Linda recently took a virtual field trip to Crystal Cove State Park to learn about the tidepools in preparation for their upcoming in-person field trip to visit on May 10. Students learned about various sea animals, the adaptation tools they use for survival, and how to respect and appreciate the environment.

Then on Friday, April 22, BVVA 4th and 5th graders were the very first student group welcomed back to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum since March 2020. The students participated in a walking field trip through the library before spending the afternoon together to eat lunch and enjoy the grounds. The Nixon Library features permanent and temporary galleries and serves as an educational, cultural, and historical resource for visitors like BVVA students and more!
