Parkview School lands an Eagle Scout thanks to on-campus announcement cabinet project

Parkview School has a new, enclosed announcement cabinet thanks to 11th grader, Andrew Caballero.

While working on his Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout ranking, Andrew thought long and hard about what service project would make the largest impact in his community. He chose to create, develop, and build an announcement cabinet for Parkview to complete his service project. Prior to this cabinet, Parkview did not have a place to post flyers and notices. After designing and planning, Andrew enlisted a group of nine to aid in the building and installation.

Andrew has been a member of the Scouts since first grade. He joined the Parkview home school community in third grade and is a stellar student. Along with taking a full academic load at Parkview, Andrew also takes concurrent classes of marching and jazz band at Yorba Linda High School.

Andrew is pictured here in front of Parkview’s new announcement cabinet with principal, Kathie DiRocco.
