VIDEO: An inside look at the Dual Language Academy at Glenview Elementary

The Dual Language Academy is a 50-50 model, with 50% of instruction in English and 50% of instruction in Spanish each day. Classes are comprised with a balance of students who speak English only in the home, and students who speak Spanish in the home, in an effort to create a true immersion experience in the classroom. Teachers work in close partnership, collaborating within the 50/50 model, and are highly qualified, holding a specialized Bilingual Authorization credential, along with a strong understanding language acquisition.
