Van Buren Elementary School 4th grade students in Mrs. Johnson’s class are tackling the Next Generation Science Standards. Students collaborated to create a closed circuit in their study of electricity and how it flows.
With nothing more than a few wires and a battery, students were challenged to spin a motor and light up a light bulb all under the command of a s witch! Through perseverance and teamwork (and a little guidance from their teacher), these students successfully completed the challenge. Way to go, Mrs. Johnson’s future scientists!
