Narumi has been playing piano since she was 3.5-years-old, attends Valencia High School in Placentia and regularly plays with The pacific Symphony's Youth Symphony Orchestra. She'll travel with PSYSO to China this summer. She enjoys playing classical/Baroque music. Her favorite song to play is J.S. Bach's Goldberg-Variationen.

Congratulations to Valencia High School junior Valerie Narumi on being named the Orange County Register Varsity Arts “Artist of the Week.” Valerie, a pianist with the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, is one of this year’s 10 national Chopin Foundation of the United States scholarship winners.
