Mabel Paine Elementary School participated in the Pennies for Patients campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)!
Student leaders presented to each class at the start of the campaign. They did a great job keeping their objective clear by explaining that this is a campaign that focuses on donating and supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, not on earning prizes.
They also described what blood diseases are and how the money the Mustangs raised can help kids with cancer enter into remission. It was heartwarming to see the Mabel Paine student body come together and raise money simply for the goal of helping others.
In the end, Mabel Paine is proud to announce that students and families raised and donated $3,085 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
