During “Walk to Read” last week, Rose Drive Elementary School third graders in in Mrs. Fast and Mrs. Thorp’s reading class learned about outreach and helping out for a good cause. Students were asked to select a cause close to their hearts, and created fundraising ideas and posters to promote their event. Many students were so motivated and excited by their ideas, that they are planning to take it to the next step by inspiring their family to make their idea a reality.
