Esperanza High School’s Chick-fil-A club sponsored 10 families from Tynes Elementary School on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The club members collected and wrapped gifts for these families. Esperanza students went to Tynes and surprised those students with a holiday party. The party included a Chick-fil-A lunch and gifts for their whole family. Tynes students were able to open their gifts right away. The high school students were so pleased and humbled to see the looks on the kids’ faces when they came into the Tynes multipurpose room. The youngsters had no idea that they were picked for this holiday surprise. All the high schoolers said it was the best part of their day, and it was priceless to see the kids so happy and excited about the holidays!
