Since the beginning of the year, Buena Vista Virtual Academy (BVVA) students have embarked on a new and different learning adventure. Students have learned to navigate various technological applications while continuing to tackle grade level standards. Although students are being supported and flourishing in this virtual learning environment, BVVA also understands the need for in person learning opportunities and peer connections.
One of those opportunities happened on April 16, when students from Mrs. Chang’s, Mrs. Fernandez’s, Mrs. Pearson’s, and Mrs. Skate’s 2nd and 3rd grade classes were on campus engaging in some old fashion fun! Students rotated between two stations: 1) Underwater Chalk Mural 2) Making Scientific Observations While constructing Paper Airplanes. The best part was watching the students interact with their peers as well as hearing their laughter and excitement during the activities. BVVA has plans to hold more of these in person opportunities throughout the rest of the year! Great job, Wolves!
