PYLUSD Nutrition Services staff meet with VHS House of Representative students to discuss school meals

Valencia High School’s House of Representatives recently met with PYLUSD Director of Nutrition Services, Suzanne Morales, and Chef, Orlando Luevano, to discuss ways to enhance food service on campus and provide feedback about school meals. It was an open conversation with positive feedback to help make service more efficient and create a greater awareness of school nutrition guidelines. Student representatives also provided feedback on what menu items they like the most and what they would like to see. Nutrition services staff members were very receptive to the Tigers’ ideas! As a result, they have posted a QR code in the lunch lines for students to scan and provide additional feedback about meals and meal service at any time.
