The international students from El Dorado High School are on a quest to learn about American culture. On Saturday, September 24, 15 international students from El Dorado traveled to Camelot Golfland in Anaheim to play mini-golf and have lunch. They represent the countries of Austria, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Norway, and South Korea. It was also nice that the 3three Italian exchange students from Esperanza High School could also attend.
During this event, the international students played mini-golf, conversed, laughed, ate lunch, and built-up an everlasting camaraderie. According to EDHS teacher, Dr. Gregory Beckmann, all who attended had an outstanding time. He and Mrs. Gaitan chaperoned the international students.
The next event for the school’s international students will be the last Angels’ game of the season against the Texas Rangers on October 2, where the students will have a chance to learn about one of the nation’s favorite pastimes— baseball!
