Dr. George Lopez is a 2024 Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Manager of the Year! Dr. Lopez serves as the director of Early and Expanded Learning for the district. This video recaps the day PYLUSD executive leadership members and his colleagues surprised him with the news.
“George is the ideal team player who is humble, hungry, and smart. He works quietly and arduously to ensure our mission and vision are accomplished with a servant leadership approach,” shared Dr. Olivia Yaung, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. “He is so deserving of this recognition and I am grateful for all that he and the entire Early and Expanded Learning Department are doing to increase access to early childhood education for our community.”
