Glenview Elementary School received a National School Scholarship Alliance grant to assist with the purchase and implementation of Spatial-Temporal (ST) Math in grades Preppy K through sixth. Glenview scholars will have the weekly opportunity to work on ST Math software games, which use interactive, graphically rich animations that visually represent mathematical concepts to improve conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
Created by MIND Research Institute, ST Math is game-based instructional software designed to boost math comprehension and proficiency through visual learning. Integrated with classroom instruction, ST Math, a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program, incorporates the latest research in learning, and promotes mastery-based learning and mathematical understanding.
