Hannah Yee, a talented student from Esperanza High School, has been awarded a $750 Certificate of Excellence in the 2024 International ArtEffect competition, organized by the Lowell Milken Center. This prestigious honor highlights Hannah’s exceptional artistic abilities and her dedication to her craft.

Hannah’s winning piece, Sword of Injustice, is a powerful depiction of Unsung Hero Corky Lee. The artwork, created using graphite, colored pencil, and mixed media on paper, measures 10 x 8 inches and showcases her keen eye for detail and profound understanding of social justice themes.
