On Monday, Feb. 22, the entire Yorba Linda High School staff was trained on the use of emergency supplies, and what to do in an active shooter situation. Firefighter Jake Ching and his partner Brandon from the Los Angeles County Fire Department spent the day showing teachers basic first aid, as well as how to use the supplies provided for each classroom. Each teacher received a backpack with emergency supplies, and a bucket with lockdown or long-term disaster supplies provided through a partnership between Eastside Christian Church and PYLUSD.
