El Dorado Senior Charlie Murillo Honored as Los Angeles Rams Nominee for NFL Latino Youth Honors

On Sunday, November 20, El Dorado High School senior Charlie Murillo was selected as the Los Angeles Rams’ nominee for the prestigious NFL Latino Youth Honors. He was recognized for his achievements during a special ceremony held before the Rams’ game against the Raiders.

The NFL and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) have a longstanding tradition of celebrating excellence within Latino communities through programs like the NFL Latino Youth Honors. This initiative highlights high school seniors across NFL club markets who excel both academically and athletically. Each of the 32 NFL teams nominates one male and one female football player to represent their team, with a panel from the NFL, HHF, and Procter & Gamble selecting eight finalists to represent the NFL’s divisions.

Charlie’s outstanding representation of both his school and community was nothing short of impressive. The district is proud to celebrate his success. Way to go, Golden Hawk!
